• Obtained research grant from Institute of Chemistry in the year 2014 to carry out an MPhil project and successfully completed the project.

“Evaluation of bioactive compounds in pulp and byproducts of different mango varieties from Sri Lanka”

The MPhil student was awarded the Sulthanbawa award for the year 2017 for the best research carried out at the postgraduate level.
